About Program
One World Surgery ignites the spirit of service and transforms lives by providing access to high-quality surgical and primary care globally. One World Surgery currently operates a fully functional surgery center and primary care clinic in Honduras and we are in the process of finishing the same in the Dominican Republic. In 2022 alone, One World Surgery provided care to over 27,000 patients including 1,828 surgeries in Honduras and over 20,000 patient consults with follow-up care in the Dominican Republic and Honduras. We need your help to outfit and stage our surgery center in the Dominican Republic to open our doors in 2024. Volunteers are vital to our mission of finishing the surgery center and providing high-surgical and primary care to patients in the Dominican Republic.
Volunteers will be helping to outfit and stage our four surgery rooms, primary care clinic, and other clinical areas.
