About Program
Volunteers work on a variety of nature conservation and cultural preservation projects collaborating with natives in Andean and Rainforest region. We have programs in Puerto Santa Ana: medicinal plants, culture, farming.
In the Andean town of Riobamba you will have the opportunity to build adobe houses and farming.
People can volunteer for 2 to 8 weeks. Professional level, long term volunteers are encouraged to create an independent project such as the investigating the use of medicinal plants, the Shuar/Chechua languages, cultures or the agriculture of Andean and Jungle communities. Volunteers who have certification in teaching English as a second language will have the opportunity to instruct the village children.

Ecuador hugs the equator on the west coast of South America, and holds Amazonian jungle, Andean highlands, and the Galapagos islands off the coast. Needless to say it is one of the most environmentally diverse countries in the world.
