About Program
Volunteer in the coastal, surfing paradise of Montañita, Ecuador! Enjoy the beaches and ocean breezes during your off-time from volunteering. See our volunteer options below.
Teaching -- Volunteers work at an elementary school, teaching children ages 5-11. You will assist the local staff and teach English.
Childcare -- Work in a children's nursery staffed by parents and volunteers. You will focus on feeding, monitoring, care and support of the children.
Healthcare -- Medical volunteers work in a clinic and hospital that survive on limited resources. You will study medical Spanish while in the program and gain the experience of hands-on medical care.
Animal Rescue -- Volunteer at the coastal aquarium and care for marine animals. You will also help edcuate Ecuadorian youth in the Kids Ecological Club.

Ecuador hugs the equator on the west coast of South America, and holds Amazonian jungle, Andean highlands, and the Galapagos islands off the coast. Needless to say it is one of the most environmentally diverse countries in the world.
