Join our Hospitality Team at Frontier Centre, Irthlingborough.
This is an amazing opportunity to offer your services to work as part of a busy team of Christian young people (age 18-28), to grow in faith and spiritual understanding and to experience different cultures. Living as part of a Christian community can be a lot of fun and fellowship with friends is an important part of the experience. It is not always easy and can be challenging at times, but it will always be hugely rewarding.
Food and accommodation provided, along with day trips around the UK, in exchange for working on our Hospitality Team for 37.5 hours per week. We also book you on Cambridge English Assessment.
As a Christian charity we want to encourage all volunteers to grow in their Christian faith. Volunteers are expected to be committed to the centre’s Christian fellowship and will have regular Bible studies (in English) on centre as well as the opportunity to worship and get involved with a local church.
- Christian community to grow your faith
- Part of a busy hospitality team at an exciting outdoor adventure centre
- Food and accommodation provided, including fun trips around the UK and trying activities at our centre
- English lessons and Cambridge English Assessment
- 8 or 12 month placements, starting Jan and Sept (we can be flexible though), Charity Worker visa sponsorship when you are offered a place after an interview
Volunteers offer a valuable service to our guest, making sure the centre is running smoothly. We can't run our centre without you and we love having you stay with us. We offer an exchange for your work not just in food and accommodation, but also the whole experience of making friends with other volunteers. We give you day trips around the UK to see some sights and you get holidays to explore on your own wherever you want to go. We now also provide English lessons and get you booked onto a Cambridge English Assessment so you have a qualification in English by the end.
Past Volunteers have said:
“I really remember of the day that I saw snow for the first time! I had a great time with the other volunteers and instructors. Also all the time I’ve spent with volunteers and instructors playing games and dancing and having fun! The trip to peak district was another highlight for me! The best for me was the relationships we have built, was something I’m taking for life.” - A from Brazil
“I met a lot of new friends, managed to experience a new culture and Rock UK provided trips to get to know England. I came with no English and managed to learn and now communicate better. ” - S from Brazil
We hope you'll join us soon.
