Volunteer in Ghana, West Africa with The Sunshine Volunteers on our teaching program. Prepare lessons with our in-country programs director, Florence (who is a previous school teacher) to make sure your impact is the best it can be. You will have the opportunity to work in a particular subject you enjoy or through various subjects. We work with two schools, Agape International, which has students from 3-14 years old where volunteers can teach classes alone or in pairs following the school's curriculum, and New Mingle Academy (1-11 years old) where volunteers can help in Creche by feeding, washing bowls, changing diapers, cleaning their faces, teaching songs and rhymes, and putting them down for naps and playing games on break! There will even be opportunity to join renovation projects at the school. Your volunteering experience will be personalised based upon your strengths and interests insuring you not only get the most out of it, but the impact you make is the biggest it can be.
