About Program
Saha Global is confident that today's young people are fully capable of solving some of the world’s greatest problems. To complement the skills, intellect and determination they already have, Saha’s three-week Global Leadership Program will train young leaders to become Saha Field Representatives.
Before traveling abroad, they will fundraise to cover the start-up materials needed to start a small social enterprise that will provide clean water to a rural Ghanaian village for the first time. Once in Ghana, Field Reps will collaborate with a community to build a water treatment business from the ground up. This process will involve elements of construction, community mobilization, educational outreach and lots of hard work, but the end result will be a lasting source of clean drinking water for an entire village.
To date, Saha Field Reps have launched over 100 water businesses, all of which remain in operation.
