About Program

WCDT, Weaker Community Development Trust, Mugaiyur is an NGO that has been serving the poor rural people for more than 25 years in 30 villages of Mugaiyur block in Villupuram District in Tamilnadu, India. WCDT serves the rural down trodden who are politically, economically and educationally very back ward. We aim to liberate the target people from all kinds of bounds to form a changed society which has equality, liberty and fraternity.

We invite and welcome volunteers to work with us and help us to improve our services to the target. We provide boarding and lodging during their visit to WCDT. We have tie up with SAFE Foundation of values England. They had sent two sets of six volunteers to WCDT. They stayed with us and participated in our services. They learnt more about WCDT and appreciate our services.
