About Program
In this program, you can be a teacher for women and/or children in one of our 11 centers in Jodhpur and in the Thar Desert. You will teach English, Maths and some other topics you might be interested in.
We need volunteers to take part to all of our projects and to the functionment of the organization. We need 15 - 20 volunteers at any time to ensure the smooth running of our projects.
Volunteering at Sambhali Trust gives you the wonderful opportunity to do important and valuable work, empowering the underprivileged women and children of Rajasthan. Not only will you help change the lives of hundreds of women and girls, you will also get an insight into the intricacies of Indian culture, and develop an understanding of how a grass-roots non-profit charitable organisation works.
Your food and accomodation will be arranged, but cannot be free of charge because of the small size of our organization.
Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger.
