Teach English at an all-girls school in rural India
- India
- Delhi
About Program
We are seeking volunteers to come teach English and help prepare our older girls for higher education. This program is for individuals who wish to take a gap year off from school. Additionally, this is the ideal location for retired people who want to continue living life to the fullest or professionals who want to give back to the community.
The objective is the social uplift and economic empowerment of the girls and women in this region. Our interventions are in the fields of: Education, Health & Hygiene, Community Development, and Economic Empowerment. With the ultimate aim of ensuring financial independence for these girls and women, PPES also ensures that they are equal and contributing members of their families and communities.
We prefer volunteers who can commit for at least six months, with the possibility of a one-year extension upon assessment.
