About Program

Project Description: Centre for International Voluntary Service (CIVS) is a non-profit voluntary service based in Kenya founded in 1993 with an aim of providing innovative and competent support services to empower communities and organizations aimed at stimulating self–development initiative among the disadvantaged members of the society as well as developing harmonious relations among people of different backgrounds and cultures. This is achieved by boosting the people’s pride, dignity and self-confidence.

CIVS has no religious or political affiliations but provides technical assistance to a cross-section of self-help initiatives in order to enhance their capacity to improve quality of their services and attain greater efficiency and effectiveness.
