About Program
We sincerely appreciate your interest in teaching our children and your willingness to contribute your time and services. Many of the children we serve are orphans/ underprivileged from vulnerable backgrounds living in slum conditions. They often face severe food insecurity, as most parents struggle to make ends meet through casual work. There are times when families go without meals, and children may only have dinner or sometimes go to bed hungry.
Adolescence in this environment can be particularly challenging as well, marked by struggles with depression and immense pressure from family, financial constraints, and peer influences. In these communities we're serving, many young individuals lose their way, falling into drug use and crime without proper guidance. Our school serves as a beacon of hope, providing education, free breakfast, and lunch, along with valuable skills imparted by volunteers.
We feel incredibly fortunate and blessed to have volunteers like you express
