- Laos
About Program
Looking for a unique and meaningful experience in Southeast Asia? Join Sa Sa Cruise, an award-winning eco-tourism project based in beautiful Luang Prabang, Laos — home of ancient temples, golden sunsets, and slow river life.
We run one of the top-rated sunset cruises in the region, and we’re proud to be the first solar-powered boat in Luang Prabang! As a volunteer, you’ll help welcome guests onboard, assist with simple tasks during the cruise, and share Lao traditions in a friendly and relaxed environment.
If you have creative skills, we’d love your help with photography, social media, graphic design, or website updates. Every day is a little different, and we always appreciate fresh ideas.
You’ll stay in a peaceful riverside bamboo guesthouse, surrounded by nature — a perfect place to unwind, swim in the river, and enjoy the slow pace of local life. You’ll also be working alongside our kind and welcoming Lao team, making this a truly cultural and personal exchange.
