About Program
Become a part of the only wildlife conservation volunteer program in the Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park and Mozambique!
Together with other participants, you contribute to the protection of animals that call the reserve home. On daily game drives and bush walks you will collect vital data (such as game populations and rare sightings) and monitor the area's condition. All evaluated data is shared with relevant institutions.
This wildlife conservation program largely involves physical work, which is more fun than you think it would be! Get your hands dirty while immersing yourself in the unfenced African wilderness, among animals in their natural habitat. The volunteer work you do is key to the survival of wildlife and the success of wildlife conservation!
Note that the programs duration is 3 weeks, this cannot be extended due to visa regulations.

Program Impact
This is the only wildlife conservation volunteer program available not only in the Gonarezhou Transfrontier Park but in the whole of Mozambique.
Whether you assist in getting rid of snares or removing invasive plant species, the volunteer work you do is key to the survival of wildlife and the success of wildlife conservation. It transforms the land back into a healthy habitat where wildlife can flourish. You don’t have to be particularly fit for this kind of volunteer work – we have a role for all volunteer project participants.
