About Program
This hands-on agriculture role offers an immersive experience in sustainable farming and rural development. Participants support daily farm operations, including planting and harvesting vegetables, feeding chickens, collecting eggs, and milking goats. You’ll truly get your hands dirty while preparing garden beds, turning compost, and maintaining the herb garden. Mornings begin with livestock care and garden maintenance, followed by seed planting or harvesting seasonal crops. Afternoons focus on processing fresh produce, learning eco-friendly farming techniques, and contributing to community workshops on sustainable agriculture. Along the way, you’ll engage in meaningful cultural exchange with local community members while building practical skills in teamwork, food production, and environmental stewardship.

Program Impact
A volunteer joining the agriculture program creates meaningful impact at both community and environmental levels. By contributing to daily farming activities—such as planting, harvesting, composting, and livestock care—they help increase local food production and strengthen food security. Their support allows the farm to operate more efficiently, expand sustainable practices, and share knowledge through community workshops.
Beyond physical labor, volunteers bring fresh ideas, cultural exchange, and global perspectives that enrich learning for everyone involved. Their participation supports skill development among local farmers, promotes environmentally responsible agriculture, and contributes to long-term rural development. At the same time, volunteers gain practical experience, deeper cultural understanding, and a stronger appreciation for sustainable living—creating a mutually beneficial and lasting impact.
