About Program

The Clothing Production Volunteer Program empowers community members through practical skills training in sewing, pattern cutting, fabric selection, and basic garment construction. Volunteers work alongside students and instructors, assisting with workshops, mentoring trainees, and contributing ideas for new products tailored to local and tourist markets. The program promotes sustainable income generation by supporting ethical fashion and small-scale entrepreneurship, giving community members opportunities to develop marketable skills. No advanced experience is required—volunteers need creativity, patience, and a willingness to share skills while learning about local culture and traditions. By participating, volunteers help strengthen livelihoods, foster confidence and creativity among trainees, and gain hands-on experience in sustainable clothing production, making a meaningful impact while building practical skills and intercultural understanding.
