A combination of volunteering and trekking!
The victims of April 2015 Nepal Earthquake in the villages still haven’t been able to rebuild their houses. It’s the poor villagers who are affected the most. We aim, through this program, to take the help of generous volunteers in reconstructing the houses of the poor victims.
How it works: when volunteers sign up for this program, USD 300 from their trip price will be automatically donated and we will use the amount in buying construction materials. When the volunteers arrive in Nepal, we will take them to one of the selected villages in Gorkha district (one of the most-affected areas) in central Nepal and they will work alongside professional builders. Their tasks will be simple.
Afterwards, a trek to the famed Annapurna region starts. In a 4-day trek, the volunteers will visit Poon Hill (3,210 m), one of the best viewpoints in the Himalayas.
The entire program is 13 days long.
