About Program

There are no volunteer fees charged to volunteer at Moonlight School.

If we have a free space at our house, we provide home-stay facility where volunteers can have free food and accommodation. If you want to stay hotel and do some trekking, we are more than happy to assist with booking hotel accommodation and arranging trekking in the world’s most scenic mountains ranges.

There are 75 children studying at Moonlight School. Some are from the streets, some are from very poor family backgrounds, and some are orphans. There are four options for volunteer engagement at the school:
1) Reading group
2) Arts and Craft
3) Music and Dance
4) Computers

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here.
