About Program

We are looking for Volunteers who can teach English language to children in government schools and organizations. As we all know ‘children are future of the nation’. Future Nepal has supported some schools and children resource Center. The children range from 8 to 16 years old. Each class typically include 30-40 student. The teaching curriculum for each major subject is based on the students’ standard book. But volunteers are also encouraged to create their own lesson plans. Depending on the subject, volunteers should bring along teaching materials such as picture books, instruments, flash cards, art supplies, and songs. Our Resource Center created to provide a library & reading materials and English language programs to members of the local groups. At the center, multiple three-month English classes are offered to local youth and adults.

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here. Learn more about how Organization is promoting ethical volunteering.
