About Program

In 2018, we launched a program to provide families living in rural Amazon river areas with fruit trees and training in their planting and care. The project will promote conservation efforts by planting more trees in areas that are vulnerable to deforestation. We invite you to join us by volunteering for a week-long fruit tree planting and ecoadventure every December. Activities include planting trees with schools and communities while interacting with families in several different villages. You'll also have a chance to receive training from FTPF staff to advance your own tree planting skills. We will travel by boat together to the villages, several hours up the beautiful Amazon and Napo rivers! Monkeys and rainforest canopy walks await you, with comfortable lodging along the way. To embark on this unforgettable, life-changing experience, apply via the form at the following link: www.ftpf.org/peru.
