PROJECT TARAY, SACRED VALLEY, PERU

Our project in Taray works with children who live in poverty, in after school program format. Here we encourage the volunteer to share their interests, skills and passion with our children. The volunteer is responsible for organizing and planning activities and will have the total support of the volunteer coordinator.The class size will be 10 or more students, of varying ages. Classes can include art, music, language, cooking, gardening, yoga and sports. Classes are run 3 days a week, for 3 hours. On a Saturday, we like to enjoy a more relaxed learning environment, and as such, we have sports days, picnic, or some other adventure for the children, and the volunteer.
