About Program
Our two main projects in Poland are the 'Enter Your Future' and 'International Kindergarten' projects.
Enter Your Future is a project centred around educating junior high school and high school students all around Poland about different cultures, in order to build tolerance and intercultural understanding. Volunteers will conduct workshops at Polish schools for around 30 students from Monday to Friday. Volunteers will spend one week in each school, before moving to a new school.
International Kindergarten will involve working in rural kindergartens where volunteers for this project will have the opportunity to interact with children of age 3-6, take care of them, and teach them English in an interactive way. The work is on weekdays, with evenings and weekends free.
Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger.
