We charge our guests SLL 2,000,000 (USD 505) per month to upkeep the place. We make our volunteers’ safety and comfort our priority, which is why our housekeeper cooks breakfast and dinner and does the laundry, besides making sure the WYCF Home is always in perfect conditions – all included in the accommodation fee.
Renting the WYCF Home to volunteers not only helps us to upkeep the place but, more importantly, is also a source of revenue to support our projects. The surplus above the costs of maintaining the house will go into the bank account and then will be re-invested directly into the schools for teacher’s salaries, school supplies, school maintenance, community development projects, etc.
