About Program
Would you like to live and work with wild African animals? This unique project in the rescue center in one of the most beautiful reserves in South Africa brings you the chance to fulfill this dream and help in a place where giraffe run freely along with zebras and countless other species.
The rescue station was opened to the public in 1992 and since then is constantly expanding. It is now home to a large number of animals (including more than 300 species of birds), who can not return to the wild. Most of the animals in the rescue center are received from local veterinary practices or by people who find injured or orphaned individuals in the wild.
Volunteers can participate in many wonderful trips and excursions to the surrounding area. Only 30 minutes away is the world mecca of surfing Jeffrey’s Bay.
