Be a Brand Ambassador for Upcycled Clothing in Sri Lanka!

Sari Connection is an initiative to empower marginalised women, by creating unique clothing and homeware products with Saris. We need your fresh perspective to improve our impact and reach out to more women in need.

Location:
You will be based in Colombo exposed to the operations of a Social Enterprise along with client interactions.
Through occasional visits to project areas in the North, you will meet our seamstresses - mostly affected by the conflict and other natural causes leaving them the sole breadwinner of their families. An opportunity to understand their daily struggles and more importantly the strength they posses to carry on.

Key Contributions:
-Input to take our recycled clothing products to a wider Sri Lankan market - which is still new to the concept of 'upcycling'
-Fresh ideas on improving sustainability of the project through sales so we can continue to widen our network of empowered women
-Be the Product Ambassador at public/sales events
