About Program

The fish caging project is an innovative program run by volunteers with the aim of mobilizing, organizing, and promoting fish farming. The project provides technical assistance, resources, and expertise needed by youth, women, and other interested local people to fight poverty by ensuring financial stability and food assurance.

The project also aims to improve the nutrition of the local community by offering a cheap source of fish protein and by putting to ultimate use the available potential water bodies (ponds, lakes) and starting home fish farming. This also falls on training and establishing a local community fish farm.

As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to learn local content and life-improvement strategies by participating in fish caging and fish farming, where you will be able to share your experience and skills to improve the livelihood.
