The costs of accommodation will vary according to the means you choose. We have 2 options, one being the host family and the other a guest house. For the host family, the accommodation fees are incorporated in the $350 a volunteer pays as the program fees for the first time/month and then $250 for the rest of each month if he/she is to stay for more than a month. And for the guest house prices vary from place to place. This leaves the host family as the best option because it’s cheap and a volunteer further learns more of our culture the time he or she spends in the family.

For the daily living costs, the volunteer is provided breakfast and lunch at the organization and the host family provides the supper meal. Transport costs are catered for by the volunteer but all our host families are located within the community so it’s a walk-able distance. In case the volunteer goes for the option of a guest house, the transport costs will vary cording to the distance and also with the meals a volunteer has to provide for his or her self with super.
