About Program

RWEYOWA is in need of a Organization Development Coordinator in its endeavor to enhance the organization capacity and development. Volunteer qualifications are not very much considered but ideally, a volunteer should have a minimum of high school.
In addition, volunteers with basic knowledge and skills in resource acquisition and development, written communication and ability to write clear structural/persuasive proposals are of an added advantage.

1. Conducting activities required to prepare, submit and manage grant proposals for public and private funders as well as major gifts acquisition

2. Performing prospect research on foundations, corporations and public resources to identify and evaluate prospective funders

3. Assist the organization with overall planning and implementation of projects/activities

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here.
