KIRUCODO Volunteer Programs in Uganda
About Program
Join KIRUCODO as a volunteer in Uganda! Kikandwa Rural Communities Development Organisation is a community driven organization that aims to develop self-empowerment in rural communities. KIRUCODO projects cross all sectors to assist local community members to improve their own quality of life.
Volunteers have the opportunity to participate in three on-going projects.
The Rural Communities Justice Awareness Project aims to inform community members of their rights under the law and educate them on where to report crimes.
Textbooks for Children in Uganda is a collaborative effort between KIRUCODO and a group of college students. The goal is to produce free reading materials for primary school students in the Kikandwa village.
Participants can also promote economic development for the community by assisting in the on-going beekeeping project.
