About Program

Street Child is looking for individuals hoping to gain valuable experience in the development sector by undertaking an international volunteering role in Uganda, to support our local partners’ existing projects, as well as help explore the scope for further expansion and development.

In Uganda the focus of Street Child and our partner organisations is on supporting the education and protection of children in refugee communities in the northern regions of the country, including school building, teacher training and English language skills.

Working alongside the Street Child of Uganda team and our local partners, you will be assigned tasks according to the project needs at the time of your placement, which will include the design and implementation of our projects, collecting data, coordinating and overseeing research, monitoring and evaluating the progress of our projects and supporting our local team, local partners and the Project Manager as required.
