Volunteers in Uganda can participate in any of our projects listed below. Together with our alliance we cooperate with local projects to improve the growth of this region, and volunteers can participate in the project that best suits their interests and abilities.
- Childcare program. assisting children in orphanages, foster homes, and shelters in Uganda.
- Teaching program: Volunteers teach English and other subjects in nurseries and primary schools.
- Medical program: work in local hospitals and medical centers, providing support to the medical staff and participating in patient care.
- Construction program: projects such as renovating houses, building schools, and expanding infrastructure
- Community development program with our NGO Volcop
- Agriculture and preservation program: local agricultural practices in tea and coffee plantations in Kyamazima.
- Sports program: in primary schools , promoting sports activities such as soccer, volleyball, and basketball.

Popular Programs
This program focuses on assisting children in orphanages, foster homes, and shelters in Uganda, addressing a critical need in Uganda, which is home to over 2.3 million orphans, surpassing the numbers in any other country.
Volunteers will provide love, medical care, and education to children of various ages (generally from 1 to 6 years old). This includes recreational activities, sports, meal preparation, and more.
Volunteers participating in this program are assigned to nurseries and primary schools, working with students aged 4 to 17. The role involves teaching various subjects, including English. This unique experience places volunteers within the fabric of Ugandan communities, offering insights into the education system.
The program focuses on primary schools in Uganda, aiming to address a prevalent issue where some Ugandan families restrict their children from playing with others. The Sports Volunteer Program aims to provide diverse activities to counteract this limitation. Volunteers engage children in sports such as football, volleyball, and basketball either within regular school settings or through established teams, fostering team spirit and a healthy practices.
The medical program in Uganda is a comprehensive initiative covering various medical fields, offering medical students/graduates a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in diverse medical branches in local hospitals. The primary goal of is to immerse participants in the day-to-day operations of hospitals and medical centers, providing a profound understanding of African medicine. Volunteers will assist in patient care, diagnostics, injections, and wound treatments.
This program is developed by Volcop NGO Uganda, in Kyamukerege village, and it stands as a registered community organization dedicated to the innovative Family Responsibility System, embodying a shared commitment among family members to attain self-sufficiency. The volunteers will help and cooperate in partnership with 70 families, helping them develop this system.
