About Program
We are looking for volunteers to join our programme and make a difference in rural communities in Uganda.
You will be based in Western Uganda for 2 weeks and can work on various projects such as healthcare workshops, counselling and Covid-19 awareness. There is no fee to join which makes this an affordable way to gain experience of working abroad in the non-profit sector.

Program Impact
As a volunteer, you’ll be involved with any or a few of our projects. We also welcome volunteers to introduce their own programmes to the organisation’s beneficiaries.
The projects are as follows:
•Medical – rural community medical support, counselling services, one-to-one mentorship, medical camps, workshops and health and sanitation workshops
• Income generation – fish farming, piggeries, construction, weaving and tailoring.
By joining us, and participating in the programmes, you will be greatly improving income opportunities and quality of life of the rural communities in Fort Portal.

Uganda's travel activities are centered around their natural beauty in the forms of wildlife and landscape. The most popular things to do here are safaris for the elusive Mountain Gorillas, visits to the source of the Nile, site-seeing at the Murchison Falls, and outdoor activities at Lake Bunyonyi.
