About Program

This is an incredible opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of orphans and vulnerable children in the Mubende community, situated on the shores of Lake Wamala, Kampala, Wakiso, and mainly in the west Nile region, in the refugee camps.
At Hope Children’s Foundation, our project aims to provide comprehensive support and care to those in need. Through education, medical assistance, shelter, clothing, and feeding, we strive to empower children and young people with the resources required for a brighter future.
What sets us apart is our commitment to offering free accommodation to our dedicated volunteers. We understand that your time and effort are valuable, and we want to show our appreciation by providing a safe and comfortable space for you to stay while you contribute to the betterment of society.
By joining our project, you will have a unique opportunity to witness the transformative power of education.

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here.
