About Program

Volunteers play a vital role in our sustainable community projects. Give your time and resources to serve others and be a humble picture of God’s love to the orphaned and vulnerable children in Uganda Africa. This mission trip allows you to give of yourself, serve others, and make a meaningful contribution to so many. Our trips change lives… including your own. Join us!

Hands-on work involves but is not limited to teaching children, painting, attending to kids at the project schools, photography, singing, dancing, games, fundraising, grant writing, home visits, construction, community outreach, cooking and serving children food, office work, working with skills development projects for youth, women and other schools, church, and community-related programs.

Sow seeds of kindness, love, and mercy, and watch how God will use you.”

Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. You can read about the potential dangers of orphanage volunteering here.
