About Program
Spend your time at our school for orphans (Shine Preparatory School), helping teachers with class work, organizing coaching classes (after school and weekend classes), organizing play, sports and special programs, assessment of children needs, helping with meal preparation and serving, cleaning utensils after meals, helping children with special needs, and more to be determined when on-site.
Consider your impact: Volunteering abroad can be a rewarding experience for both volunteers and local communities, and at Go Overseas, we believe all volunteers should have the resources to make informed decisions about the type of volunteer project they want to partake in. However, despite best intentions, some organizations offering placements in orphanages may unknowingly place children in danger. It is believed that Education Reduces Poverty Directly, so support our effort to mitigate poverty
Education combats the basic structure of poverty. In addition to the fact that an increase in the opportunity to get quality education directly impacts limiting other areas of poverty such as shelter, water & sanitation, it also promotes better utilization of healthcare facilities.
