Program Impact
Students participating in the Oral Health Uganda elective program contribute meaningfully to expanding access to preventive oral healthcare in under-served communities across Northern Uganda. Through involvement in school screening activities, oral health education sessions, and rural outreach dental camps, students help support services that reach populations with limited access to routine dental care. Their participation strengthens community prevention efforts, improves oral health awareness among children and families, and supports local clinical teams delivering high-volume outreach services. At the same time, students gain valuable insight into global oral health challenges while contributing to sustainable, community-focused care initiatives
