About Program
Catalyst For Change Vietnam (originally called Coins For Change) is a social enterprise that aids disenfranchised women and children throughout Vietnam. Our goal is to support and empower women & children who still face the difficulties and disadvantages of a traditional society that continues to build barriers that limit the freedoms and opportunities of women.
Our Teach for Change program offers English support to low-income children in rural and urban areas at over 20 different partner schools located all throughout Vietnam. With the help of our passionate international volunteers and teachers, we are able to provide fluent English language services to those who otherwise would not have access. In a country where English fluency is rapidly becoming a necessary skill to compete in the national and global job market, providing these classes has become a vital part of increasing gender, ethnic, and general social equality within disadvantaged regions of Vietnam.

Program Impact
Officially established in December 2015, Catalyst for Change Vietnam (originally called Coins For Change) now offers a wide range of services related to education and business within Vietnam through two programs: Teach for Change and The Empowerment Plan.
Our programs serve low-income, urban and rural families through educational and business support. With a focus on serving low-income women, such as ethnic minorities in rural areas, domestic violence victims, single mothers, and disabled women, we help remove the obstacles that prevent these disadvantaged groups from achieving success and gender equality within their communities, and therefore within Vietnam.
Through our educational and business campaigns, we offer free vocational training, job placement, free and low-cost English classes for women and children, online and offline support groups, mental health awareness, business support, and online lessons. Our campaigns focus on building life skills and providing training that increases independence and equal opportunities.
