About Program
Join African Impact's empowering initiative - The Girl Impact - to help address cultural issues such as gender-based violence and overcome female stereotyping. Poor education affected the lives of Zambian women making them uninformed of their rights as a woman, as well as awareness on several health issues which had consequences that can impact the rest of their life. The team's goal is to help improve the education for the younger generations while ensuring that the curriculum remains culturally sensitive. Hopefully this will also change the thinking of Zambian girls which would consequently give them the freedom to make their own choices in life.

Program Impact
WOMEN'S GROUP
Provide support group sessions and deliver workshops in a personal environment to a dedicated group of local Zambian women.
BOYS GROUP
Help educate the local Zambian boys and young men bridging the gender-based gap in the process. Provide outlets for the Zambian boys to express themselves and encourage them to stand up for the girls in their communities.
SAFETY ADVICE
Help host workshops and activities aimed to educate boys and girls on the issue of violence against girls and support girls who have been affected by violence.
NUTRITION TALK AND ALL-GIRLS SPORTS CLUB
facilitate sessions solely for girls to attend and work on developing not only sport-specific skills, but also personal development and health.
