About Program

Livingstone Rhinos Rugby Club was built on a simple belief — that sport can change lives. Based in Livingstone, Zambia, the club provides young people aged 8–18 with more than just rugby training; it offers structure, mentorship, and a sense of belonging. For many of the players, stepping onto the field is not just about the game — it’s about building confidence, learning discipline, and discovering what they are capable of.

Through rugby, we create an environment where young people are encouraged to grow, support one another, and develop both as athletes and individuals. Many of the players come from challenging backgrounds, and the programme serves as a positive space where they can focus, develop life skills, and build a better future.

Volunteers play a meaningful role in this journey. Whether supporting training sessions, mentoring players, or simply bringing energy and encouragement, they become part of a community that values effort, resilience, and growth.
