YearOut International Volunteering - Albania Project
About Program
YearOut works in partnership with Dora e Pajtimit (DEP) Organization; its mission is to act for the benefit of the community, trough activities linked with theater practices. DEP has been working since 2007, for preventing exclusion and illegal immigration. Theatre Practice is considered the best tool to create a strong link to the community for the young. The project is located in the rural area of Scutari.
DEP has been organizing theatre workshop, educational workshop and debates for the youngest within the community: YearOut volunteers will be part of this educational path. Besmir Rrjolli, president of DEP will help volunteers in the integration process and he will be the volunteers coordinator.
Activities:
Training.
Educational and recreational activities for the youngest.
Helping children in their daily school activities.
Dedicated Workshop about gender issues.
Supporting to the staff during theater workshop, for the sake of disadvantage young people.
Drawing workshop.
