About Program

Work Play USA is looking to recruit a number of people to head out and work at summer camps in America. We are partnered with a number of camps who have hundreds of jobs available that are perfect for people who have their summers free.
Many jobs are available within the following categories:
Sports
Arts & Crafts
Digital Media
Outdoor Adventure
Lifeguarding/ Water sports
Performing Arts
Climbing
General Counsellors

No experience is necessary, just a positive attitude and a willingness to work with children. Camp contracts typically last around 8 weeks between June and August, and during this time you will be provided with food, accommodation and medical insurance. This is also a paid job, and you will have 30 days on your visa after camp to do some travelling around the USA with some cash in your pocket!

Hi, my name is Cas Bolink and I’m from The Netherlands. I always wanted to go to the United States to work on a summer camp. When I found WorkPlayUSA they immediately made me feel very welcome and were very clear on what working on a summer camp would look like. After I applied and got into the program the people were extremely helpful and I felt like they really cared about me as a person. I would 100% recommend going to The USA and choosing this agency over any other. Just an amazing experience overall!

Best Summer Ever!

Josh made the whole process of getting to camp super easy and stress free. He was always around when I had questions. I had the best summer of my whole life! Made so many friends from all over the World, travelling was amazing I did a road trip in California with some of my girl friends and we have loads of stuff planned together now we’re back home too. Would recommend Work Play USA to anybody who is looking for an adventure. I’m going back next Summer and then travelling to Australia afterwards with my new friends!

Amazing experience

This was one of the most amazing experiences in my life! I made friends from all over the world, get to learn about different cultures, have so many activities to do and learn.
Being with my campers was one of the most wonderful things, to learn from them, help them, being that person they trust is amazing. Is definitely an experience that I would recommend to everyone.
Work Play USA was great, they helped me thru the whole process make it everything easy and smooth, they are a great agency!!!!

Best Summer With WPUSA!

Had the best summer thanks to Josh at WorkPlayUSA! Was placed at an amazing day camp where I was hired as a group leader. I got to participate in a variety of activities such as tennis, pickleball, arts, cooking, dance and so much more! I met so many amazing people through the programme & my camp.

Due to being at a day camp in New York, it meant I could spend evenings and weekends exploring the city, which made it even better to be staying in the city!

Josh was super helpful when I was applying and made the interview process really easy. Was always there to help/answer any questions I had! :) Couldn't recommend the program enough and cannot wait to go back for Summer 2024!
