CIEE High School Summer Abroad in Nanjing, China – Chinese Language & Culture
- China
- Nanjing
About Program
What better place to learn Mandarin – the most widely spoken language in the world – than in the student-friendly city of Nanjing? A rich cultural and intellectual hub on the banks of the Yangtze River, the city is home to over 70 colleges and universities, and numerous libraries, museums, restaurants, shops and cultural attractions to keep you busy in your free time.
You’ll spend most mornings in Mandarin classes with native instructors. The rest of your time is for fun and practicing your language skills – on local streets, on expert-guided excursions, and with your host family as you prepare and share traditional meals, shop, relax, and learn local customs while joining in their daily routines.
College credit option is available for this program; see our site for details.
