A cosmopolitan city near ancient Mayan ruins and incredible geological formations... Merida is a perfect place to spend a summer or a semester studying Spanish. In a safe, charming and small-town environment, you'll practice your language skills in class, at your homestay and with locals. CIEE High School Summer Abroad and High School Semester Abroad programs let you see southeastern Mexico through a special lens where you could even engage in service-learning with a local NGO in a Leadership & Service Program.
