About Program

The international program of the Colegio San José de Villafranca welcomes students who want to study Secondary Education and Baccalaureate (11 to 18 years old) from all over the world offering them a Residence where they can live together.

Our location in a rural area of Extremadura provides our students with a quiet and very safe environment to live an experience that helps them grow as people, learn from cultural differences and make lifelong friendships. On the other hand, our proximity to emblematic places in Spain facilitates the learning of our culture and history, reinforcing in short the humanistic formation of our young people.

The international program allows students to be welcomed for various periods of time, from quarters to full courses, but it is specialized in those students who wish to study the Baccalaureate in Spain, as a previous step to continue their university studies in our country or in the United States.

An Unforgettable Experience!

I had an amazing experience at Colegio San José. The International Program coordinator at the school was always helpful, responsive and caring. Colegio San José has stunning architecture and amazing staff. There is a great range of sports and extra curricular activities available and the student body were so welcoming and friendly towards me. Being completely immersed in a Spanish school and Spanish culture really improved my fluency. I enjoyed every minute and made life long memories and friends.

What was the most unfamiliar thing you ate?
Lots of Spanish dishes and meals at all times of the day!
