Dentistry Internship Abroad in Greece

From the moment I landed in Athens, I was blown away by the mix of modern life and ancient history. The Philotimo Dental Program gave me the chance to shadow oral surgeries, including wisdom tooth extractions and dental implants! The 1:1 and 1:2 student-to-doctor ratio made it so much easier to learn. The dentists were incredibly patient and spoke excellent English, which helped me understand every step of the procedures.

One of my favorite experiences was our city tour to the Acropolis—seeing the Parthenon in real life was surreal. We also took the metro everywhere, and it was surprisingly easy to use (except for that one time we got off at the wrong stop

The hands-on exposure in the dental clinic was fantastic. I learned so many things that I didn't expect. The doctors are very supportive and friendly. Greek people are very friendly and respectful toward other races, they made me feel at home. Staying in Athens made it even better, with all the amazing history and culture around me. Our Philotimo excursions were to the Acropolis, The Parthenon, and the public market. I really want to come back soon. Huge thanks to Stavros for organizing everything so well!

My two-week dental program in Greece with Philotino Shadowing Dentistry in Athens was a dream come true! I learned so much from Dr. Maria and Dr. Sotiria, and the excursions were a fantastic way to experience Greek history and culture. The accommodation was very accessible, safe, and clean. I am going to miss the afternoon walks at Ernmou Street. So many boutiques, cafes and full of young people. Honestly, this was such a great time abroad. Greek people are so nice. The Philotimo Dental was beyond amazing! I shadowed experienced dentists, learned about patient care, and even got insights into the latest dental procedures. We cover many things during the hours. Monday to Friday shadowing the team of doctors, and during the evenings we all went out to eat. The accommodation was perfect, close to all the best parts of Athens.
