Liden and Denz Intercultural Institute of Languages

I had the pleasure of attending private tutoring at Liden and Denz in Beginning Russian in August, 2024. The school was a short walk from my hotel on Tverskaya between the Byelorusskaya and Maikovskaya Metro Stations. My tutor Irina was warm, patient and highly qualified. I must say that the entire staff was helpful and made me feel welcome. A great place to pursue greater proficiency in Russian at whatever level one may be on, and at the same time gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for Russian culture.

At the beginning of the year I took my first lessons at the school Liden & Denz. I liked it so much that I decided to come a second time. In April and May I did an internship as a blogger at Liden & Denz and also had Russian lessons every day. Both the internship and the lessons were great. In spite of the different difficulties of the students in my class, the teacher dealt individually with all problems and made the lessons interesting for everyone. During my internship I was supervised around the clock despite the distance (Moscow-St.Petersburg) and was allowed to write about very interesting topics. I would repeat the internship and my stay at Liden & Denz at any time and will miss my time in Moscow! I´m glad that I chose to do that! LOVED IT!

Liden & Denz is THE place to be if you want to learn Russian and progress rapidly. It is a great way to combine learning Russiand and getting work experience, as well as exploring the city and Russian culture. I was a blogger and editorial assistant, meaning I mostly wrote blogs and went around the city for good pictures and spots to write about. Interns are given a great amount of freedom to come up with their own ideas, whether they're blogging or working with the school's social media accounts. You'll find a lot of people in the same situation as you, meaning you'll have no trouble finding someone to cook or go to one of St. Petersburg's hundreds of museums with. I've had two six-week stints at Liden & Denz, and would highly recommend you to do the same. The school is professional, teachers are magnificent and the atmosphere is something you'll miss as soon as you leave.

I can not recommend Liden & Denz enough for Russian learners who wants to combine it with some work and avoid paying for top-quality language classes.

I had the most amazing time working at Liden & Denz in St. Petersburg and I would highly recommend the Liden & Denz internship programme to anybody that wants to live and work in Russia, study Russian and explore Russian culture. As a social media content assistant my weekly tasks included creating visual and written content for FB and Instagram as well as writing and translating blogs and other marketing materials. I did like every aspect of the internship and thanks to the language lessons in the morning, I was able to improve my Russian language skills. The school environment was fun, positive and supportive and the staff is just great, especially the marketing manager and internship supervisor Liza who is not only helpful and understanding but also fun to work with. I always felt valued and part of the team. I am forever grateful for this experience!

Liden & Denz offer a fantastic program, which is expertly run and really looks to offer Interns with a tangible, valuable experience. I was able to explore my interest in Russian culture, practice my language skills and learn a lot about how this incredibly successful institute works. Would thoroughly recommend to those looking to spend some time in Russia. What's more is that I had a great time doing it too.
