You can teach English abroad as long as you want, people do it for their entire lives in one place, others go from city to city or country to country. They are jobs, not assignments like the Peace Corp or military. The schools love it the longer a good employee stays just like any employer.

Most jobs are 6 or 12 month contracts to be the English teacher at a school. There are some schools that will hire you for 3 months in a few locations.

There is no such thing as a guarantee in anything in life, people can make a claim but when you don't get what they promise, what is your recourse? There is a way to set up a payment plan, you can ask about it when you get a call from a representative. You will not be able to access the job search assistance until the course is completely paid for, unless something has changed since I took the course.
