I really enjoyed this experience, all the teachers in the school are very prepared and they always try to make the lessons funny and interesting. Even if I was the youngest of the class (and I think of the all school) I had a good time with everyone. The activities are various and they give you the possibility of knowing people outside of the scholar contest, which is very important. Thanks to this experience I knew a lot of people from different countries and cultures and this was one of the best opportunities that the school gave us. I absolutely recommend this school, for the place and also for all the people that work there. I had the best time in Barcelona and I hope to come back as soon as possible and take another lessons with Linguaschools

I decided to learn a new language. I wanted to dive into the Spanish lifestyle and embrace the environment. I found everything I wanted at this school. Its hosted in a beautiful old building in the center of Barcelona. Very nice teachers, nice classrooms and much fun to learn the language.
The process to enroll was easy and they replied very fast. All was so effortless. As I am a beginner and only started to learn Spanish, the staff was perfectly fine to speak english and help me with all my concerns about payments and reaching there.

The host family was great too and it was all easy and straight forward to get there.

I will book another course with them shortly and I cant wait to be back to continue learning,

I was in linguaschools for 3 weeks, attended an intensive course and can recommend this experience to anyone.
I felt very comfortable there. The whole crew was always helpful and very friendly. The lessons were so lively and interesting, the teachers competent and always in a good mood.
The school is very centrally located, so that you can explore the city very well after class.
I opted for a private accommodation about 30 minutes walk from the school. The hostess was so nice and I was able to apply what I had learned.
In addition, Barcelona offers a lot and you can meet people from all over the world.
Conclusion: everything was fine and the course was a lot of fun !!

Ich war in der Linguaschools für 3 Wochen, habe einen Intensivkurs besucht und kann dieses Erlebnis jedem nur empfehlen.
Dort habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die ganze Crew war immer hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Der Unterricht war so lebendig und interessant, die Lehrer kompetent und immer gut gelaunt.
Die Schule liegt sehr zentral, so dass man nach dem Unterricht sehr gut die Stadt erkunden kann.
Ich hatte mich für eine Privat Unterkunft entschieden, die ca. 30 Minuten zu Fuss von der Schule entfernt liegt. Die Gastgeberin war so nett und ich konnte das Gelernte gleich anwenden.
Ausserdem bietet Barcelona viel und man kann Leute aus der ganze Welt kennen lernen.
Fazit: alles hat gepasst und der Kurs hat viel Spass gemacht !!

I took Intensive20 course for over two months, started from complete level 0 and nine weeks later I was able to understand Spanish and express myself with an ease. At first I was a bit worried that classes are taught only in Spanish, but in fact, such learning is very intuitive and is not as tricky as it may sound. It really did sped up the process! The course requires work and concentration, there are tests after each level and they are not easy, so you really have to demonstrate your learning progress in order to jump the level. Most of the teachers have crazy energy and patience, come to classes prepared and those 4 hours just fly by. They provide all the material necessary and really put effort into organising events and social activities for their students. I really enjoyed my time there!

I really enjoyed my 4 weeks at Linguaschools in Barcelona. What really made it stand apart from other schools was the high quality of teaching instruction - I was really impressed with all the teachers I had and they all made the classes really enjoyable.
I also chose to do a "host family" through the school and it worked out really well. My husband and I got placed with a really lovely woman who made our month in Barcelona great - we made connections that we never would have normally made without this part.
At times the organization of the classes can be a little lacking, but this is partly because of the system where new students can begin at any week. I have since been to another school in Spain and I can say that Linguaschools Barcelona would be my first choice should I get the opportunity to return and study more!

I think I got the best experience in study in Spain in this school, I have been anther school in Madrid, but I think this school is better, cuz the teachers are nice and they make the class has so much fun. The class are in a small group, so it is good for each student. The school is so pretty! For the new year, normally people in Spain eat grapes at the mid night, but the for he school, they will let u to eat grapes and drink champán in the mid day, which is so cool!!!! Even the activities is short but we had so much fun the celebrate with the lovely teachers and classmates!!!
Normally for the first day the school will provide free sangria or some drink at the first day after class. So I can make some friends. And all my classmates are so nice, I am really happy to make friends with them. I will come back again if I came back to Barcelona to study Spanish.

I have been to several languageschools in different cities of Spain, but the experience I had at Linguaschools Granada could not be surpassed.
Together with international students of different countries I followed classes in little groups. The teachers were marvelous and the program was of high quality. They were able to take us to a higher level in a short time regarding grammar, pronunciation, speaking skills and vocabulary of the Spanisch language.
Besides that there was an opportunity to learn more about the history, the culture and the arts of Andalucia and Granada with excursions guided by specialists in these sciences.
I shared an apartment with 2 other students of Linguaschools Granada. It was great.
I am looking forward to return to Linguaschools Granada. It will feel like coming home.

The private tutorials for the DELE B2 turned out to be a good investment. They are accommodating to deaf students.

However, scheduling was problematic, even though the administration reassured me upon registration that it wouldn't be.

Be aware of their cancellation policy: I lost one class - a 40 euro loss - due to an emergency (a major leak in my flat during a big storm).

The teacher was fun, engaging, knowledgeable, punctual, and always prepared. The course was structured around the format of the DELE, with a heavy focus on the oral exam, albeit well-balanced with the reading and written sections, using published materials based on past exams.

NOTE: I marked 10 for housing but that was an irrelevant issue for me as I live in Barcelona.

Mi experiencia a LinguaSchools fue excelente. La programa es muy organizada. Los profesoras estan muy competentos and gran divetido. Aprendieron espanol por hablando sobre las cosas culturales. Yo lo recomendo.
My experience at LinguaSchools Barcelona was excellent. The program is very organized and the teachers are very competent and fun. We learned Spanish by discussing cultural things. I recommend it.

I have attended Linguaschools Granada on two separate occasions for a total of six weeks. I returned to the school this summer because of my great experience the first time.

Linguaschools Granada is a small Spanish school located very close to the center of town. They offer group and private classes, then in the afternoon, different excursions around town. The optional afternoon activities include a variety of adventures, including a neighborhood walk through the Albaycin, a Flamenco show in a famous cave in Sacromonte, and a visit to the Arabic Baths. Each week the activities change! For example, there is a "Ruta de Tapas" where a teacher takes the students to a couple great tapas bars. On the weekends, there are trips out to locations outside the city, like a day at the beach or a hike through the Sierra Nevadas.

All of the teachers are amazing. I worked with Alicia and Ana on this trip. Both were so friendly and helpful. They made the classes interesting and useful. Sometimes we would work on reading and writing, or other times we would simply chat (while secretly practicing the subjunctive and my speaking and listening skills.) I took some group classes and private classes. Both had their advantages. In group classes, I met so many students from different countries and learned about their cultures. In private classes, I was able to get individualized lessons for what I needed to work on. Between classes, all the students and teachers would go to a cafe across the street to chat and unwind.

During my first stay two years ago, Linguaschools connected me with a Spanish family to live with. I had such a great experience, I requested the same family and was able to stay with them again. They all were so friendly and patient as I tried to speak my broken Spanish to them. Every day their would be a HUGE lunch with the whole family and sometimes even the neighbors. I loved spending time in the living room chatting with them as I completed my homework. They even included me in family events, like a weekend at the beach or a dinner out to watch Spain in the World Cup. I would completely recommend staying with a family if given a chance. (My Spanish mom works with several schools in the Granada area, and she says Linguaschools is the best.) :)

I returned a second time to the school because it was such a great, personalized experience. I wholeheartedly recommend Linguaschools to anyone wanting a true Spanish experience.
