My experience with the Asian College of Teachers (ACT) has been truly excellent and enriching. From the very first session, I felt that the training was planned with great clarity, purpose, and professionalism. Every part of the program was well-structured and delivered in a way that made learning not only effective but also enjoyable. The sessions were clearly designed to help trainees understand the concepts deeply while also giving us practical exposure that we could apply in real classrooms.

One of the biggest strengths of ACT is the quality and dedication of its trainers. They were highly supportive and went out of their way to make sure every participant understood the content. Their explanations were clear, step-by-step, and adapted to the needs of the group. I appreciated how approachable and friendly they were. We could ask doubts at any time, and they never made us feel uncomfortable or hesitant. Their professionalism and positive attitude created a safe and encouraging learning environment, which helped boost my confidence throughout the training.

The activities conducted during the training were extremely meaningful. We engaged in role-plays, group discussions, pair work, demonstrations, and hands-on teaching practice. These activities were not only interactive but also designed to help us improve specific teaching skills such as classroom management, communication, lesson planning, and student engagement. Every activity had a clear purpose, and we could immediately understand how it would be useful in a real teaching situation. These practical tasks made the sessions lively and ensured that learning was never boring.

What I appreciated most was the constructive feedback given by the trainers. After every micro-teaching session or activity, they shared detailed feedback that highlighted our strengths and also suggested areas for improvement. This feedback was specific, honest, and very motivating. It helped me identify what I was doing well and what I needed to refine. Over time, I could clearly see the improvement in my teaching style, confidence level, and clarity of instruction.

The training also helped me develop important teaching attitudes. I became more confident, more organized, and more aware of how to handle different types of learners. The focus on student-centered teaching and creativity was especially helpful. The sessions constantly reminded us that teaching is not just about delivering content, but about connecting with students, understanding their needs, and making learning meaningful for them.

Another important advantage of the ACT program is that it creates a strong sense of community among trainees. Working with peers during activities helped us learn from each other, share ideas, and support one another. The group environment was positive, friendly, and filled with encouragement. Overall, ACT enhanced my professional growth, and I highly recommend it.

Staff is patient, adaptable and friendly. Course instructions and lessons were clear. Engaging classes. Outside admin easily reachable. The only "issue" was not having enough time to prepare for lesson presentations. I'm not sure if this was short time was part of the curriculum though. Overall, everyone was great and helpful. The instructor always made sure we understood. The students were supportive of each other. The lesson presentations with both our peers and the school children gave us experience.

Our trainer, Ms. Ashika, truly stood out as one of the best trainers I have ever learned from. From the very beginning, her depth of knowledge was evident. She had a strong command over the subject and presented every concept in such a clear and structured way that it was easy to understand and follow. What made her sessions even more impactful was her approachable nature. No matter how small or repeated a question was, she never hesitated to clarify doubts. Instead of making students feel intimidated, she encouraged us to ask and engage, which created a very open and comfortable learning environment.

I am J Hemaranjani. I have completed my 120-hour TEFL training in ACT on 22 Aug 2025. I am thankful to my trainer, Ashika R, and the institute for the continuous support during the course. It is an outstanding place to learn from experienced professionals. As an amateur, it is a great place to start my teaching career with credible training and guidance. Anyone interested and willing to gain hands-on experience in teaching from experts, this place will be the right choice. It helped me in building job-worthy skills and my competency. Overall, it is a wonderful experience!

I had a great experience with ACT right from the beginning. Starting from the course enquiry, explanation of the course, and payment methods, everything was smooth, and the coordinator was very approachable.

What I loved most about this course is how hands on it was. It wasn’t just theory…we were actually planning lessons, teaching, getting feedback, and improving on the spot. Everything we learned, we did and that made all the difference. From lesson staging to classroom management and even using real ESL techniques like PPP and TBL—it was all super practical and relevant.

The teaching practice sessions were challenging but so rewarding. Reflecting after each one really helped me grow and gain confidence. A big thank you to our trainers and my peers it has been such an engaging and supportive space to learn in. I now feel confident, equipped, and genuinely excited to step into an ESL classroom.

This program doesn't just teach methodology—it builds self-assurance. By the end of the course, I felt fully prepared and confident to step into any language classroom and teach effectively, using techniques that are both student-centered and globally relevant.

I had an excellent in-class experience. I had fun learning with Ms.Ashika. Her knowledge of Water, Music and learning theories was amazing. We had teaching Practice and Peer teaching. In those Practice tests, we were put into real life classroom teaching experience. Those experiences really boosted our confidence. I had a good peer-teach experience. And our Teaching Practice place was good, where we met both hyperactive kids and calm kids. It was a different experience, the trainer asked us to teach both kinds of kids.
