My experience in ACT literally exceeded my expectations. The methodologies, approaches and strategies that I learnt here will be implied by me to shape the lives of dynamic individuals in this modern world.
I have a master's degree in English and experience of 4 years in teaching as well.
I would like to recommend this course to every teacher because I am feeling the difference myself. Teaching to me was more than earning bucks. I struggled a lot in my teenage years and had utmost fear in expressing myself at school. I believe there are children like me who require the attention of teachers and want to feel welcomed as well. Change happens when individuals understand each other. I am proud to be an ACT graduate today and instead of flaunting my certification, I wish to step into my teaching world again and bring a change. ACT in-class program just provides individuals the right platform to brush up on their skills.

I was the youngest person in my batch and being able to diversify myself with this course was quite inspiring from my end. The structural instructions I got from my trainer was very clear and helpful with the activities conducted in the class. The assignments, the lesson plans we did, it was very engaging and fun. Anyone who is looking to teach English as a foreign language should really consider this course. It's really shapes up your character and you can learn new things that is helpful for later parts of life.

ACT Tefl course is an extremely enriching course with a lot to offer. Especially people aspiring to be teachers will have a lifetime experience. This course can be pursued by anyone and everyone. It does not matter what educational background you come from but this course really does help in an entire personal development as well. Made a very big impact in my life. Would reffer this course to many aspirants out there. The entire course was extremely enriching. Had a very successful session. Trainer was highly professional and got to learn a lot from her. Each and every part of the course material was taught excellently.

It was an amazing amazing experience. The trainer is amazing. Lots of hardwork go in . But in the end it really brush you. Lots of growth and development happen. Your life will never be the same if you join this course it is going to transform you. You will go back as new you. The class are very intensive. Lots of peer teaching practices. You will see that the trainer is very enthusiastic and energetic.She is going to push you to let you become the Pro version of yourself. You get to meet people, You learn about new culture, discover new food . Make amazing friends and share wariness and love together.

I have learnt a lot about TEFL methodologies, Phonology, Music lessons, EFL Teaching- Learning strategies, etc. I am confident about planning LSRW lessons and pitching in innovative elements in a lesson plan. I learnt to incorporate music in lessons and also realized the importance of knowing Phonology. We might know words and grammar topics but teaching the English language in an EFL (ENGLISH AS FOREIGN LANGUAGE) setting is different. TEFL teachers need to be knowledgeable, creative, and compassionate and must teach with sincerity.

The course has added to my skills as a prospective language instructor and as a professional.

From grooming, body language, and oration to theory, teaching methods, and language instruction - I have learned so much and the scope of learning through this course is expansive and never-ending.

Through association with ACT, one can be sure of adding to their professional skills and their passion for teaching. The faculty is extremely helpful and cooperative, and is committed to supporting trainees and prospective trainers. The network is strong and helpful.

I have enjoyed every element of the 120 hour In-class TEFL course offered by the Asian College of Teachers (ACT): how we were inspired to break out of our shells, learn new skills, relearn old ones, participate and collaborate with our peers and our trainer, who pushed us, motivated us and taught us thoroughly and sedulously. Teaching is something I have been passionate about all my life, but this course made a childhood dream (becoming a teacher of English) feel actually feasible. The facilities were wonderful, the staff always courteous and deft. I wholeheartedly recommend the ACT for anyone interested in teaching English as a livelihood.

My education qualification is Master of science in environmental science.
I am a recent tefl graduate from the kolkata batch which started from 30th of january till 17th of february 2023.
I have already worked for a couple of years as a teacher but i always wanted to do something extraordinary in my teaching line. I heard a lot about tefl, people have shared how tefl changed their lives so i wanted to experience the same so i took a step forward and enrolled myself for the tefl course from act
My facilitator was miss June, and whenever i speak about her i always get short of words, as she not only made the tefl journey a successful one but also changed our perception as how we are suppose to teach. Teaching is not easy as it looks, it calls for a hefty amount of planning and organization, which can be again very challenging but tefl makes it easier as it build that confidence in you.
Tefl has brought a lot of positivity in my life, it has shaped me to a better person today
M more energetic, more compassionate and more dedicated to my profession now. Coming on to the curriculum that tefl has, it covers up almost everything from the methods , theories, lessons, music , phonology needed to be a great teacher.
Expressions, idioms, and accents are such an important aspect to learning a foreign language. Someone can have the largest vocabulary and might have mastered all of Grammar Girls podcasts, but if they can’t be understood in personal and professional contexts, they are going to be wickedly limited in their range of communication. So TEFL has phonology again to expertise you .
So people who are aspring to do tefl course go ahead and get it done and experience the different you after the course

ACT proved to be a good platform for me to launch into the next phase of my career.I learnt a lot of tried and tested teaching techniques which would help me in all aspects of my careerLearning was made fun and the classrooms were always about dynamic collaboration as opposed to conventional one way. No difficulties for me, I found everything was just right. Always had good feedback after handing in assessments with some good advice attached. I personally think it's good the way it is. I really enjoyed doing this course, it gave me a world of knowledge and it was a fun learning experience!

My coming to Bangkok for the in class training was beyond my expectations. I wasn’t prepared in any way for the wealth of knowledge I was about to be exposed to. All my life I saw teaching to be done in a particular way. Oh how wrong I was. I am sincerely glad that I was open minded. Believe me when I say this experience will change your life, only if you follow through and dedicate the 3weeks of your life to the course work and assignments. Hmmm how time flies we have come to an end and it’s a bitter sweet feeling. I had the most amazing instructor Ms June who was passionate in her teaching and guidance towards us. I made new and amazing relationships with my fellow colleagues, honestly they were my back bone I couldn’t have been able to follow through without their encouragements.
The teaching practice was the perfect icing on the cake. Now I understand the importance of writing and preparing a very good and creative lesson plan. The satisfaction is knowing that you have left a piece of you on every lesson taught and hope that you change the narrative of how teaching was done in the past.
I will strongly recommend this course to anyone who is willing to take up the Challenge to make teaching a more mini full and a selfless service to the students you are privileged to teach.
