Overall the DCU summer school experience was amazing. I think having such a supporting team and teachers put this program together really helped. I like that we were able to experience Ireland in and outside of the classroom. Innovation was probably my favorite class because we got to go on field-trips looking at innovative family business and we even did a scavenger hunt around Dublin. Overall this program was a great learning experience.

The program was exciting and fun from day one. You jump right into the heart of Dublin and begin learning about the country immediately. The classes I took were engaging and I learned a lot about Ireland. The professors were great and made the classes enjoyable. The trips we took as part of the classes and outside the classes allowed us to visit almost every corner of the country and the island. I always looked forward to them. The staff were helpful and always answered my questions quickly and completely. This program has opened my eyes to a world of possibilities and I am grateful for it.

I absolutely loved participating in the DCU International Summer School! I never thought I was cut out for Study Abroad Programs, but I had so much fun and learned so many things from this program! All of the staff were so nice & so helpful, and always made sure we were safe and having fun! The 2 classes that I took were very interesting and had great professors & amazing field trips! I loved being able to explore a new place and meet new people! I couldn’t recommend this program enough!

Learn International created the most educational, influential and breathtaking experience I have ever been a part of. Learn International strategically made it so that we went from a highly populated area (Dublin), to small intimate communities (Buncrana, Bundoran and Donegal) in order to take in the different pieces of the country. Mark was the most amazing, personable guide on our journey through Ireland, our entire group was sad to say goodbye to his great humor and vast knowledge of all things Ireland! I felt as though I was able to see so much of Ireland, and this trip made me want to plan a return trip as soon as possible. I loved the tours, the educational experiences and the meetings with health professionals and students. Thank you, Learn International for such an unforgettable and priceless adventure across Ireland.

I had such an amazing experience interning abroad. The internship was specifically geared to my interests and professional goals. I was able to work on interesting projects and was able to see them start to finish. My colleagues were great to work with. I got to explore most of Ireland and learned more about their country and myself through the journey. I stayed with a host family, which was a unique and enjoyable experience. I was able to be immersed in Irish culture and the town where I was living. I would definitely recommend interning through Learn International, the staff are supportive and friendly. They provide affordable study abroad programs that allow more students the possibility to study abroad. It was a valuable learning experience for me. It's a once in the lifetime experience!

Overall, my summer in Dublin was incredible! I met new people, had so many new experiences, and loved my time in the country of Ireland. Arriving was a little shaky, no one told me there were students I would be meeting who were not doing an internship. Us interns ended up staying in the dorms for a night with the students. More communication, as well as more details, would have been great.
My internship was with Premier Publishing. I loved my internship. It was really what you made of it, and how much you were willing to participate in the office. I ended up staying in my first assignment for the whole 8 weeks because everything was going so well.
My host family was great. They took care of me and made sure I was doing ok with everything. They took me on a few days and overnight trips around the country, and always encouraged me to go adventure.
I met some cool people thru the program, but also just going out on my own. I would suggest this internship and experience to anyone who is hands on about their success and are willing to be proactive in everything that comes with the program. Best of luck!

There’s a lot of things to say about this program. The people who run it are amazing and help to make sure that you get the most out of the program. You get to spend a whole month taking classes in my opinion one of the most beautiful cities in the world and you get taught by some great teachers. Another part of the program I really enjoyed is the different field trips you get to go on during the month both for school and as a visitor you really get the opportunity to explore Ireland and all it has to offer. I would highly recommend this program for someone looking to get some credits during the summer and to explore another part of the world.

This summer, I interned through Learn International at an engineering consulting firm in Cork City, Ireland and I could not be happier with my experience! The Learn International staff were very supportive and quick to answer questions from months before my departure to my arrival in country, and even after I returned home. My host family was kind and welcoming. They provided sound advice on anything from local bus routes to the best travel destinations. The work I did was interesting and the engineers were friendly and did not look down on me when I had questions. In addition, I learned many new skills that will help me in my professional life. But my favorite part of the program was my weekend travels. Seeing so many wonderful places and experiencing a culture I have always admired firsthand is something I will never forget! This experience has changed me for the better and I am forever grateful!

I recently completed an internship in Ireland for 8 weeks thanks to the help of Learn International. I was not only getting the amazing opportunity to travel but I was also able to meet amazing people and learn the skills of working with those from other countries than myself. The faculty were fantastic in helping me with finding a safe homestay, meeting me once in awhile for lunch to check in, and even helping me meet friends! I loved my host family and even made friends that will last a lifetime both from Ireland and elsewhere. I 100% recommend working with Learn International because they will do everything they can to make sure you have what you need and help you make amazing memories!

I am so happy and satisfied with my experience interning with my placement through Learn International. I am glad my school partnered with Learn International and provided me with an internship experienced like nothing I could have experienced if I was home. The staff, other students and companies they paired with were friendly, accommodating and supportive to my needs, skills, strengths and weakness. I feel proud of myself for doing something I did not know I had the capability of doing before this experience!
